Made To Measure

Bespoke frames and lenses for ultimate clarity, comfort and style.

Everyone is unique, so why should there be restrictions when it comes to frames and lenses?

Having asked ourselves this question, we went in search of innovative companies who share our belief that everyone is unique and therefore requires a personalised service individual to their own tastes and lifestyle.
We are proud to be able to offer a completely bespoke eyewear experience as part of McGraths Signature.
We call it ‘MADE TO MEASURE.’

Part of the bespoke design consultation with our “MTM” experts includes a discussion about your natural colour palette, and suggestions are given based on our extensive experience and expert eye on what works for different skin tones. Ultimately, your eyewear should mirror your look, personality and lifestyle.

“SEE” Superior Eye Examination

Sight loss prevention through early detection

Unique to McGraths, “SEE” is a new concept in eye care whereby traditional eye testing standards are complemented and enhanced by the latest cutting edge technology in digital and retinal screening and imagery.
At McGraths, we are committed to bringing the most advanced technologies to our patients. To this end we have invested in a Topcon 3D Optical Coherence Tomographer (OCT) and an Optos Daytona Ultra-Wide imaging system.
The data and imagery produced by these industry-leading technologies is key for the earliest possible detection of both life and sight threatening diseases.

McGraths are proud to announce we now have an Optos Daytona, the latest in Optomap® ultra wide-field retinal imaging technology

How does the OCT help?

Optical Coherence Tomography

The state-of-the-art 3D Optical Coherence Tomography Camera will take both a digital photograph and a three dimensional scan of your retina in one sitting.

Your optometrist can review the high definition images and pin point areas of concern, even before they appear on the retina surface.

Advanced software detects even the most subtle changes to the retina between eye exams. With OCT, your optometrist can confidently diagnose, manage or refer you to an ophthalmologist for further treatment , if required.

OCT provides significant reassurance that deeper layers of the eyes are healthy.

At McGraths, we will provide advice on the various prevention and management options and technologies available, should there be any problems either current or potential.

How does the Optomap® help?

Optomap® ultra wide-field retinal imaging technology

Checking retinal health and detecting eye conditions earlier means we can advise on and implement methods to protect our patients vision and overall health.

The high resolution Optomap® images produced by the Daytona captures more than 80% of the retina in one panoramic image. Traditional methods typically reveal only 10-15% at one time.

The unique Optomap® ultra-wide view enhances your optometrist’s ability to detect even the earliest sign of disease that appears on your retina.

This amazing piece of equipment offers the most comprehensive and ground breaking retina exam available in a quick and painless procedure.

Early detection of eye disease is key in the role of sight preservation, especially as we get older. Traditional methods of viewing the retina were limited meaning there was a chance of pathology in the periphery of the eye being missed until it became symptomatic.

Tailored eye diagnostics

with the Dynamic 3D measurements

Eyecode is a unique breakthrough in lens personalisation and is at the forefront of innovation. Currently, all lenses that are manufactured assume every person has the same Eye Rotation Centre (ERC), when in fact it can vary by 30%.

The dynamic 3D measurements, which can only be measured by the Visioffice system, is based on pinpointing the exact ERC that is unique to every person, delivering a truly tailored eye diagnosis, that is quick, easy to determine and highly accurate. Provided as x, y, z readings, this measurement is called Eyecode.

Eyecode can be combined with the frame and behaviour parameters to deliver lenses that are genuinely tailored to each wearer.
